Tanya explains why the phrase “Baby Sign Language” is really a misnomer. Sign Language is a rich and deep language, far more than a list of vocabulary words. Beyond that, her own daughter showed that babies are capable of communicating their wants, needs, and innermost feelings by using sign language — not just babbling vocabulary, but real communication.

It’s easy to forget that people who differ from the norm/common are also image-bearers of God.
